Tryouts for the 2009 – 2010 varsity cheerleading squad took place just before Spring Break. The talent demonstrated leaves little doubt of the tremendous potential this group has for making an outstanding team.
Returning from last years squad are:

- Nick Austin – Mascot
- Amanda Connerly

- Jaci Aiken
- Alexis Cravey
- Hope Boykin
- Chelsea Oldham
- Alicia Ortiz
These young men and women will be traveling to Corpus Christi this summer for cheer camp. Congratulations to all. I’m looking forward to them carrying on the level of excellence this past squad has established.
