Cross Country and Band

Below is an summary of the cross country results from this past weekend. A special thank you to Wendy Renteria for the information:

The Eustace Cross Country Teams competed at the Forney Community Park on Saturday, October 8, 2011. The meet held a 5A and under Varsity division, 5A and under JV division, and a Middle School division.

The Varsity Girls placed 9th out of 13 teams and 89 individuals in the 5A and under division. The team was lead by Meagan Gunter who placed 20th and ran a 13:33, next was Samantha Crocker who placed 51st, Crystal Garza placed 56th, Tarah Herrera placed 57th, Emily Morton placed 63rd, Kara Zimmerer placed 67th, and Shelby Stegent placed 83rd.

In talking with Mr. Felty yesterday, he stated that he thought the band finished 9th in the Mabank Marching Festival. There was a little confusion about the final placement because some of the event was cancelled due to rain.

A reminder that the High School volleyball teams will be traveling to Teague tonight. The 9th grade game will start at 5:00. The JV game will start immediately following the 9th grade game and the varsity will start immediately following the JV game.
