Football, Volleyball, FFA, and This Week

The Bulldog’s football season came to an end this past Saturday in the bi-district game against Daingerfield. The Bulldogs had a tremendous effort on Saturday and definitely went out fighting. Thanks to the players and coaches for a great year. Thanks to all the fans that supported the Bulldogs week in and week out. I want to extend a special thank you to all the seniors on the football team. You have represented the Bulldogs with pride, poise, discipline, and class over the last four years.

The 13-2A All-District Teams for volleyball were recently announced. Below is a summary of the honors from Eustace players:

Peyton Dibari was named the Most Valuable Player, Caitlyn Culp was named the Offensive Player of the Year and Crystal Garza was named Most Valuable Setter.

Eustace seniors Karli Gallops and Meagan Gunter were named to the second team.

Eustace coach Chuck Powers was named the Coach of the Year.

Honorable mention selections for Eustace went to Raleigh Smallwood, Grace Holcombe, Taylor Peebles and Mackenzie Abbott.

The Eustace FFA team competed this past Friday at the Leadership & Development Events public speaking contests.  Seven out of the 10 Eustace FFA members advanced to area!  Ag Advocacy placed 1st and consists of Breanna Fuller, Grace Holcombe, Lane Smith, Sunni Goodell and Gabe Purselley.  Chad Tindel placed second in Job Interview and Rusty Rogers placed second in Senior Creed Speaking.  The Radio team placed 7th
and consisted of Jessica Miller, Dj Hocutt and Caitlyn Culp.  Congratulations to these students and their sponsors, Theresa Tindel, and Greg Pruitt, on their accomplishments!

Thursday – HS Girls Basketball at Teague Tournament

Friday – Thanksgiving Feast – Primary; HS Boys Basketball at Fruitvale; HS Girls Basketball at Teague Tournament

Saturday – HS Girls Basketball at Teague Tournament

A reminder that next week, November 25 – November 29, EISD will be out for Thanksgiving Holidays. Classes resume December 2 at regular times.
