This Week

Congratulations to the varsity football team on their homecoming victory over Kemp. The Bulldogs won 34-7 to even their district record at 1-1. This week, the Bulldogs travel to Palestine Westwood.

Congratulations to Delaney Worth on being selected as the 2014 Homecoming Queen! The other senior nominees included Noa Taylor, Emily Morton, and Grace Holcombe.

The High School volleyball teams played at West Rusk on Saturday. All three teams came home with wins. The 9th grade and JV teams both won 2-0. The varsity team won their match 3-2. The varsity will have a key game at Frankston this Tuesday.

Today is the district cross country meet. Eustace will host the meet at the 4-Pines Ranch just south of the city limits. The varsity girls will run first at 1:30. The varsity boys will follow at 2:00. The JV girls will run at 2:30 and the JV boys will follow at 3:00. The Middle School girls will run at 3:30 and the Middle School boys at 4:00.

Wednesday the Mighty Bulldog Marching Band will be competing in the UIL Marching Contest at Mesquite. The Bulldog Band will perform at 5:15. There is an admission charge to enter.

This Week

TAKS retests will be given Monday – Thursday this week for anyone that might still need to pass one of these tests.

Monday – District Cross Country at 4-Pines Ranch; MS Volleyball v. Malakoff – 5:00; Band Practice 6:30 – 9:00

Tuesday – HS District Volleyball at Frankston – 5:00; Board Meeting – 7:00 PM – HS Library

Wednesday – Fall Sports Pictures – MS; UIL Marching Contest – Mesquite – Bulldog Band marches at 5:15

Thursday – MS Football at Westwood – 5:00; JV Football v. Westwood – 6:00

Friday – Pumpkin Patch – PS and IS – 5:00 – 8:00; Varsity Football at Westwood – 7:30 

Saturday – MS District Volleyball Tournament at Eustace; High School District Volleyball v. Arp – 5:00; Senior Night for Volleyball
