Eustace High School’s Principal, Stan Sowers along with Sponsors and members of the Theater Arts Department, presented a check to The Grace House of Cedar Creek Lake, a local non profit organization on Wednesday. Each year the Theater Department donates a portion of their fall production’s donations/proceeds as a way of giving back to the community during the holiday season.
The Grace House of Cedar Creek Lake is a faith based ministry which focuses on assisting in the transformation and re-building lives of women at risk. The six month program was established to train, support and give hope to women following incarceration and those in the midst of perilous lifestyles by providing an education, life skills and spiritual training. Teachers and volunteers come into the center to offer training to educate the women. Their facilities can care for up to 12 selected women while providing them with 24/7 supervised living, which includes room, board, hygiene necessities and clothing.
Grace House does not receive government funding at this time and is funded primarily through individual donations and fund-raisers. For more information about Grace House contact Jeff Reynolds at (469) 552-1616.
