8th Grade Boys Win District Tournament and This Week

Congratulations to the 8th grade boys basketball team on winning the district tournament on Saturday! The 7th grade team beat Troup in their first game and fell to Rice in their second game.

This Week

This is a four day week for students. Staff have a workday on Friday, February 20. There will be no school for students that day. Friday also marks the end of the 4th 6 weeks.

Tuesday – Varsity Girls Golf at Cedar Creek Country Club; JV & V Softball at Blooming Grove – 4:30; High School Boys Basketball v. Arp – Senior Night; School Board Meeting – 7:00 PM – HS Library

Thursday – 1st Grade Family Reading Night; 2nd Grade to Cedar Creek Library

Girls Senior Night

UIL Focus Young Film Makers Competition – Final Rankings as Semi-Finalist for State

Congratulations to Eustace High School Junior, Nic Caldwell and Senior, Delaney Worth on their success in the U.I.L. Focus Young Film Makers Festival this year. Caldwell’s film, The Monster’s Within, ranked in the top 24 films of Division I Narrative. This year there were 650 films submitted in Division I (1A, 2A, 2A Schools) and Division II (4A & 5A schools). The categories in each division are narrative, documentary, and animation. Principal Stan Sowers, and Theater Arts teacher, Tammy Beaty are very proud of the hard work and dedication of both Caldwell and Worth. We are Bulldog Proud!
