A couple of things before we get to this week’s events: First, I want to say thank you to all the 8th grade parents and students that attended the Graduation Options in EISD presentation last week. We had presentations on Tuesday and Thursday and we were able to get a lot of information out to parents and students, as well as answer some questions.
Second, I want to congratulate all of the track teams on their great performances at the District Track meet on Wednesday and Friday. The Eustace JV girls, JV boys, and varsity girls are all district champs!. The varsity boys placed second overall in district. The top four finishers in each event will get to travel to West Rusk this Thursday to compete in the Area Track Meet.
I also want to say a big thank you to our maintenance department for their work in getting the grounds ready for hosting the district meet (no small task since they were working against the weather as well) and our technology team (Robert Cook, Roy Jones, and Gene Myers) that helped with the software and finish camera.
Third, congratulations to the varsity baseball team on defeating Frankston 6-2 last Friday.
