Congratulations go out to the Beginning Band, the Middle School Band, and the High School Band on three great performances last night! Congratulations to all three bands on a great year! All the students have put in many hours of work to improve throughout the year. Videos of all three performances will be uploaded to our YouTube channel later today. I want to thank everyone that came out to support our bands last night. A special thank you goes out to our two band directors, Todd Felty and Crystal Heidle on the fantastic job they have done this year with our band students! Also, a very special thank you to the 12 seniors who performed in their final concert last night!
The Eustace boys and girls track teams competed this past weekend at the Regional Track Meet at Baylor. Chanda Westbrook and Whitney Boerner qualified for the state meet in Austin on May 15 & 16. Chanda placed 1st in the 3200m run shattering her own school record by 13 seconds! She ran a 11:42.68. Chanda also finished 2nd in the 1600m run which qualified her for state in that event as well. Whitney finished 2nd in pole vault to qualify for the state meet. Congratulations to Chanda and Whitney!
Mark Zimmerer had a strong performance finishing 4th in the 3200m and 3rd in the 1600m. Eric Goodjohnson finished 5th in the 3200m. Marshalla Padgett qualified for the finals in the 300m hurdles and ended up with an overall finish of 6th. Grace Holcombe finished 7th in girls discus. Preston Schwartz finished 9th in the 800m run. Congratulations to all the Regional Qualifiers!
A special reminder that Tuesday is the Spring Band Concert. The concert will start at 6:00 PM and will be held in the HS auditorium. There is no admission charge. Everyone is invited to come out and hear all three Bulldog Bands perform.
This week is End of Course testing at the High School. AP testing is also being done this week. First grade will also be participating in their Reading and Literacy Assessments throughout the week.
This Saturday is the Sports Banquet. It will start at 5:30 and be held at the First Baptist Church in Eustace. All tickets must be purchased beforehand. Tickets will NOT be available at the door. Tickets may be purchased at the High School this week. Athletes will not need to purchase a ticket.

Thursday – Kindergarten Arboretum Field Trip
Friday – Middle School Soundpost Festival in Canton
Saturday – Sports Banquet – 5:30 – First Baptist Church in Eustace
