November 1, 2016- The Sixt Scholar Program was founded in 2014 to aid high school students planning to continue their education in college. With a successful first year receiving over 1,000 applications, we are very excited to be continuing the program. Sixt rent a car is thrilled to contribute to higher education and support the development of exceptional students. The Sixt Scholars Program is available to high school seniors graduating in the academic year of 2016/2017. The scholarship will also take into consideration other factors such as financial need and involvement in extracurricular activities. Award winners must show valid proof of a full-time enrollment in an accredited undergraduate college or university for the academic year of 2017/2018. November 1, 2016- The Trucker to Trucker Scholarship application is available to students who plan to enroll in an accredited driving school after graduation. Applicants must submit an essay of up to 500 words on one of two topics located on the website. Please visit

November 30, 2016- The Good 360 Sustainability Scholarship is available for application to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend a college or university, have at least a 3.3 GPA and have an interest in environmentalism or sustainability. Applicants must write an essay and be able to post a picture with a caption via Instagram. For further information please visit

December 1, 2016- Texas Farm Credit will continue to award five Marsha Martin Scholarships in the amount of $2,000 each for graduating seniors who are involved in FFA or 4-H and are pursuing a college degree in an agriculture-related field of study. These five scholarship recipients will be selected from the monthly AgStudent of the Month winners.
