This Week and Board Meeting Tonight

I hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! There are 30 days left in this school year.

Congratulations to all of our track teams for their strong performance at the district track meet this past Wednesday and Thursday. Of the four divisions, Eustace placed first in three.  The JV girls, the JV boys, and the varsity girls were all district champions. The varsity boys placed 3rd. The varsity boys broke every school record in the relays on Thursday.

The top 4 finishers in each varsity event qualified for the Area Track Meet. The Area Meet will be this Thursday in Eustace.

With a 12-6 win over Alba-Golden on Friday, the varsity baseball team clinched a playoff spot for the second straight year. The baseball team continues district play this week on Tuesday and Friday.

Tuesday – District Softball v. Scurry – 6:00; JV & V Baseball v. Quitman – 4:30

Wednesday – Senior Group Picture

Thursday – Area Track Meet – Eustace

Friday – JV & V Baseball at Edgewood – 4:30

Board Meeting Tonight

Tonight, the Eustace ISD Board of Trustees will hold their regular monthly meeting. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM and will be held in the High School library. Everyone is invited to attend.

The Board will hear the following reports:

  • RevTrak Reports
  • Henderson County Appraisal District Audit
  • Preliminary IDEA-B LEA MOE Compliance Review
  • Update on Enrollment

The Board may consider action on the following agenda items:

  • Minutes from previous meetings
  • Financial reports
  • Resolution Extending Depository Contract with Prosperity Bank
  • Sale of Property
  • Review Safety Audit
  • Policy Updates Related to District of Innovation Plan

The Board will enter closed session to consider personnel matters, review and consider recommendations for Auxiliary Directors, Professional Employees, and Paraprofessional Employees, and student transfers. Any action taken on closed session items will be made in open session.
