For parents of High School students, you may easily set up an email notification when your child’s food service balance falls below $5.00. After you log into Family Access, look at the top of the page for the link My Account. Click on the My Account link. It open a new page. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will see a section called Email Notifications. You have the option of checking a box to receive email notifications for grade alerts and email notifications when your child’s food service balance drops below $5.00. You can choose to receive both types of notifications or just the food service notifications.
I have used this option for several years. It is a great way for parents to know when they need to send more money for meals.
Note: Parents of students in grades PK – 8 do not need to bother with the food service notifications because all students in those grades eat at no cost.
