Congratulations to the varsity football team on their win against Palmer last Friday. The win puts the Bulldogs at 3-0 going into their bye-week.

The EHS Bass Team competed in their first tournament on Saturday. Below is information provided by the Bass Team sponsor, Kenneth Carpenter.

We had four of our six teams competing this weekend at Lake Ray Hubbard. Two teams made it to weigh in. Wesley Kirchenbauer and Clay Carpenter placed 47th overall and Micah and Colby Carpenter placed 76 overall. 181 teams competed and only 98 teams made it to the weigh in trailer. Our other two teams competing were Colton Tumlinson -Luis Garcia and Cade Adair-Ryan Powers. Neither team caught a scorable bass, but fished hard. Overall, it was a lot of fun and the kids really seemed to enjoy it. Next tournament is here at Cedar Creek October 14 at Log Cabin.

The Mighty Bulldog Marching Band is getting more of their contest show ready each week. Their first contest is October 7 at Mesquite.
