April 2, 2018– Trinity Valley Electric Cooperative is offering scholarships to graduating seniors who are in the top 20% of their graduating class and whose parents or legal guardians are members and are receiving electric service from TVEC at their primary residence. Applicants must also seek full-time enrollment at an accredited institution of higher learning. Applications are available in the counselor’s office.
February 12, 2018-The Henderson County Black History Committee is offering their annual scholarship to graduating seniors who
- Have a GPA between 90 and 70
- Have not been arrested or convicted of a felony
- Can submit two letters of recommendation
- Can write a two page essay on “African Americans In Times of War”
Applications must be returned to the counselor’s office by 9 a.m. on February 12.
Applications are available in the counselor’s office. NOTE: Students do not have to be of African American descent to apply for this scholarship.
