The annual National Honor Society Banquet was held on Monday at the First Baptist Church in Eustace. Following a catered meal from Danny’s BBQ, students were recognized for their service hours and the number of years they had been in the NHS.

A few highlights from the 2017-2018 NHS:
Senior with most NHS hours: Bethany McKinness – She had 1308 hours this year.
Junior with most NHS hours: Madison Holbert – She had 403 hours this year.
Sophomore with the most NHS hours: Hannah Patterson – She had 176 hours this year.
Most hours overall in NHS was Bethany McKinness. She is graduating with 1839 hours.
The 2017-2018 NHS students turned in a total of 13,231 hours of community service!
